What's Happening at ECV

The Church as Family
Last week, Josh continued our series on “The Work of the Church” by looking at the Church as a hospital, a place where we receive healing and become healers. This week, Josh will conclude our series by looking at the Church as a family, an ever expanding community marked by our commitment to follow Jesus. As a family knit together by Jesus, we also have a responsibility to care for one another - locally, in our church, and beyond to our city and world. This Sunday, come learn about the world-changing power of family led by Jesus.
Food Pantry Donations

This November, ECV is collecting food for our local food banks. There is an increased need for food at many different food bank locations and ECV wants to help out. This Sunday, you can bring your food donations to church and we will deliver them to Christian Community Action, a nonprofit working with families in need in the Newhallville area and beyond. Email Laura with questions.
Black Friday Hike
11/27 @ 11:30

This Friday, instead of going to the mall, join a group of ECVers for a hike in West Rock Park. We will meet in the parking lot off of Main St. at 11:30 and hike around Lake Wintergreen. Bring a pack lunch or leftover pie and enjoy a beautiful fall day with some friends. Email Asha Evans with any questions.
Night of Music
12/6 8pm @ FSUMC

On December 6th at 8pm ECV is hosting a Concert! Julian Reid and his band "The Neighbors" will be preforming at FSUMC. This will be a night of amazing music so save the date and start inviting your friends. All of this will happen in the sanctuary on Sunday night after church. Go out, get some grub and come back in time for an incredible show. You will not want to miss this.
