What's Happening at ECV

The Big Story
On Sunday, we start a new teaching series called “The Big Story.” When we zoom out from the story of our lives, we are led to ask: what kind of story has been unfolding around us and what are its upcoming chapters? If you’ve ever walked into a movie late - or been interrupted by someone who joined mid-way through - you know how crucial knowing the contours of a story are for understanding what’s happening in the present moment. That’s true of our lives too. The next four weeks, we’ll share four parts of The Big Story as we see it: the beautiful world, the broken world, the hope for healing, and the wholeness that is coming. Come with your own story on Sunday and see how it relates to The Big Story we are exploring together.
ECV Ice Cream-off
9/3 @ 7:30p
The annual ice-cream off is a sacred gathering of ice cream eaters tasting and testing the skills of ice cream makers. (Yes, there will be prizes.) Bring your own homemade ice cream to compete in this night of laughter and indulgence, or bring your favorite store-bought ice cream to share. Either way, you don't want to miss this!

Join us  tonight at the Kennedy's home (290 Fountain st) to partake in this night of frivolity. email Laura with questions.
Homegroup Fair
9/6 after the service
Downstairs after the Sunday Gathering we are having our annual Homegroup fair.
All our homegroup leaders will be available with information about the groups they will be leading this year. Join us for pizza, tasty desserts, and some great conversations! This is the perfect opportunity to check out all the homegroups at once and see which one fits best for you!
ECV Calendar of Events
The school year has started and during this busy season it is sometimes hard to keep track of all the different events going on. If you want to stay up to date with all the happenings at ECV you should check out our calendar on our website. We regularly update our i with the extra events. We look forward to seeing you as we dive into a new season.
