What's Happening at ECV

An Imaginative life
As we move on from Galatians, one concept from 'A Mature Freedom' is striking as an important practice for our community: imagination. What does it mean to pursue an imaginative life where we posture ourselves as if  we are something though we are not? This exercise does not have to be a self-indulgence. Rather, it could be a powerful way of loving our neighbor. Paul, an ancient church planter, seems to recommend using our imagination to help us envision God's Kingdom coming to our lives, our city, and our world. Come hear Josh share more about the role of imagination in our life of faith on Sunday.

Summer Bible Study
Wednesday @ 8pm

This summer, we have taken time to explore Galatians in-depth and in community. This week the Bible Study continues but we will be moving on to the book of 1 Corinthians. As rhythms change in the summer, this is a great way to go deeper with God and with one another as we focus on a text. 1 Corinthians is the text that we will be focusing on in our new Teaching Series. Come and help us unpack what God is saying through it. The Bible Study takes place Wednesdays at 8pm at 47 Dyer St
