What's Happening at ECV

The Way of Faith As we’ve studied Galatians together, two different paths have emerged. The first path is the law and our adherence to the rules that we choose or that are chosen for us. While helpful at times, these rules often betray us when we fail to meet their standards. The second path is the practice of faith that involves trusting a person: Jesus. On Sunday, Josh will share about an unlikely story Paul uses to illustrate a life lived by faith, trust, and relationship - the story of Abraham from the Hebrew Scriptures. Join us Sunday to see how this ancient story can provide insight into what Galatians might mean for us.

Artists Circle 7/6 @ 7pm 192 Mansfield st Are you a Writer? Songwriter? Painter? Poet? Sculptor? Photographer? Musician? Designer? Join us this Monday night for a time of sharing and creating. Bring one piece of art to share with the circle, as well as any instruments or supplies you need to do some creating on the spot. That simple! All experience levels are welcome. Management Team Meeting 7/7 @ 6:30 150 Edgewood Ave. Community Management Teams meetings are organized in each of New Haven's ten community policing districts and anyone with an interest in the quality of life in their district may attend. Dwight/Kensington's meeting takes place the first Tuesday of every month and is open to the public. They provide a place for residents to talk about concerns and have a voice in neighborhood improvement and revitalization efforts.  Come and listen and be apart of the conversation this Tuesday at the Dwight Police Substation. email Laura with questions. Dwight/Kensington Prayer walk 7/11 @ 10:30 July will be our last month in Dwight/Kensington for the New Haven Neighborhood Challenge. Join us two saturdays from now for a prayer walk through the neighborhoods of Dwight/Kensington. We will meet at 66 Kensington St. at 10:30 am to walk around the neighborhood and listen to what God is saying about this district in New Haven.
