What's Happening at ECV

Becoming God's People
Our "Moses with the People" series continues this Sunday with the first appearance of the Ten Commandments! After freeing the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, God has been guiding Moses and the people to a new land. However, God's goal was never simply for them to be relocated. He wanted them to become a new kind of people, God's people. On Sunday, Josh will talk about God's covenant with the people: why Moses gets it, why most of the others don't, and what it means for us today. Listen to past talks in the series here.
Kingdom Café
Friday 2/6 @4-6pm

Kingdom Café is a monthly open mic event that serves as a space of artistic expression for New Haven's youth. Come and join us at the Afro-American Cultural Center @ 211 Park St.

Feel free to invite teens, bake something for the kids, or just show up and enjoy the event and the community. If you would like to help out in any way, please contactJosh.
Hymns and Valentines

Families are invited to the Willows (225 Amity Road), a skilled nursing facility on the New Haven/Woodbridge line for a hymn sing-along and Valentine's Day celebration with the nursing home residents. After the sing-along at 11:30, we will have lunch at the Rolf's (4 Lines Road, Woodbridge).  Sprouts will make Valentines for the residents in class this Sunday.

Thanks for your support of Sprouts! If you have any questions, please contact Ann Rolf at annrolf@yahoo.com.
