Open Our Eyes to New Ways of Engaging the Police TONIGHT 6:30pm
Get involved in community-police relations in New Haven! Every Thursday at 10am, CompStat happens at the central police station (1 Union Ave). This meeting is open to the public and features district managers talking through crimes in each NH neighborhood and receiving feedback from other police and community partners. It is a great way to learn about New Haven and to be a part of community policing. In addition, there is a hearing tonight (Thursday 1/29) at 6:30pm at City Hall about a civilian review board that would bring transparency and, if necessary, an additional voice to claims of police misconduct. You're invited to come to either or both of these events.

ECV Prays! IntercessionIf you've been around ECV, you know that we are a community that loves prayer. We want to grow as a community that prays in specific, regular ways for our church, our city, and beyond. This kind of directed prayer is often called intercessory prayer. In this season, the prayer team would like to facilitate this by sending out a daily reminder to pray about a specific request. If you'd like to opt-in to this practice and grow in that way of praying, please fill out this very quick form!
