What's Happening at ECV

On the Move!
As we announced on Sunday, ECV has found a new space to call home: First and Summerfield United Methodist Church (FSUMC) on the corner of College St. and Elm St. The staff and elders liked this space for its accessible downtown location, beautiful sanctuary, and the potential partnership with the host congregation. This Sunday (11/16) will be our last Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church and then we'll move to FSUMC the week after. Let's thank God for His provision and celebrate where God is taking us.

Sign up here to help us move into the new space on 11/22!
Our Series Continues

On Sunday, we continued our 'Jesus in All Tribes' series by looking at the first ethnic conflict in the early church. Instead of becoming divided, the disciples empowered their community to lead and to raise up others to become a tribe made of many tribes, a hope here at ECV. Listen to the talk here. Next week, we'll track how the Gospel spreads outside of Jerusalem and how God's power cannot be bought or controlled.
Prayer Ministry Training
Sunday 11/16 6pm upstairs at Trinity Lutheran

If you are interested in how to pray for others or how to to become a prayer minister at ECV, someone who prays for people at Sunday service, this class is the first step in that process. Join us after service Sunday for a light meal, and prayer ministry training.

New and Improved Sprouts

As ECV is growing and transitioning, so is ECV Sprouts! We are currently looking for volunteers to co-teach in our Sunday School classes on a once-a-month basis (Nov 2014 - May 2015). We believe this new volunteer structure will provide more efficiency, flexibility, and consistency for our kids and volunteers. If you have any questions or would like to join the *new & improved* Sprouts team, please contact Hannah.
