What's Happening at ECV

We Are On the Move!
ECV has found a new space to call home and we're moving in this Sunday!. The church is First and Summerfield United Methodist Church (FSUMC) on the corner of College St. and Elm St. The staff and elders liked this space for its accessible downtown location, beautiful sanctuary, and the potential partnership with the host congregation. This Sunday (11/23) will be our first First and Summerfield UMC. Let's thank God for His provision and celebrate where God is taking us!

Please sign up here to help us move into the new space this Saturday, 11/22, at (updated time) 7:30am!
Our Series Continues
Sunday 11/23 @4pm

On Sunday, Josh shared how God cannot be controlled or bought and how our attempts to be God reveal just how small our story is compared to the Gospel - God's big story of restoration. Thankfully, we can receive from the Spirit and become part of that much bigger story. Listen to the talks from this series here. This Sunday, Josh will continue "Jesus in All Tribes" by looking at Acts 10 where God brings together two very unlikely people to be part of a story that goes beyond their prejudices. Come and find out more.
Come and Meet Audrey
Thursday 11/20 @7:30pm
47 Dyer St New Haven

ECV partners with various folks and organizations around the globe who share in our vision of connecting with groups of people who don't know Jesus. Audrey Lin is one of those folks. While she shared a little bit on Sunday, many wanted to hear more and Thursday is our chance! We will be meeting in one of the homes in our community, where she will share more about her mission. No need to RSVP, just show up. Contact Jessy with questions.
Kingdom Cafe
Friday 11/21 @4-6pm

Kingdom Café is a monthly open mic event that serves as a space of artistic expression for New Haven's youth. Come and join us at the Af-Am House (African American Cultural Center), 211 Park St. New Haven.

Feel free to invite teens, bake something for the kids, or just show up and enjoy the event and the community. If you would like to help out in any way, please contact George Black.
