The Scoop
Abraham's Tent is a collaborative effort between Columbus House (New Haven's largest homeless shelter) and local faith communities, who take turns hosting a select group of 12 men who would otherwise be in the shelter. This week we are partnering with United Church on the Green, Shalom UCC, Metropolitan Community Church, and the Yale Divinity School to host the group at United Church on the Green (270 Temple Street).
We're still looking for 1 or 2 more volunteers for each of the following tasks:
4:00 - 7:00pm: Prepare dinner and eat together with the guests and volunteers
6:00 - 9:00pm Organize evening activities
8:00pm - 6:00am: Stay overnight at the church (from about 8pm - 6am)

Artist Circle
Are you a Writer? Songwriter? Painter? Poet? Sculptor? Photographer? Musician? Designer?
Join us Monday night - 7:00pm at 546 Chapel St. Bring one piece of art to share with the circle, as well as any instruments or supplies you need to do some creating on the spot. That simple!
