What's Happening at ECV

Asking for Mercy
Last week Matt talked about how God freely gives us good gifts even in the midst of our lack, and that His freedom from us means we can have a healthy respect, even fear, for His power in our lives. This week, as we continue the series on Expecting Mercy, Julian will talk with us about how we can urgently expect and ask for mercy from Jesus our King.

ECV Directory
Fill out the Survey

ECV is creating a directory! This is not a form of membership, rather a way for ECVers to form better connections within our community and see all the awesome people that God is calling together in this unique way. If you would like to be apart of the directory, fill out this survey. Along with filling out this form, please grab a photo of yourself and email it to laura@elmcityvineyard.org. Please include in the subject line: ECV Directory, and your first and last name. We will gather all the information and make it available to you on our new website (coming soon!).
Opportunity for Gospel Love

John Hartley from Pathways shared on Sunday about a need to care for and love our Muslim neighbors! One way to put that into practice is to send a note: "May the peace of God rest upon you and your community. As a Jesus follower I am praying for you these days. Jesus teaches that we should love our neighbors as ourselves. That prompts me to reach out. My community would love to have a conversation if there are things we can do to support or protect you. Your neighbor and friend…”

Christmas Services at ECV

12/24
This year, we will hold a joint Christmas Eve service with First and Summerfield's congregation at 5pm in the Sanctuary. We will sing carols, read scripture, and give thanks for God presence in our lives.

12/27
The Sunday following Christmas, at 4pm, we will continue our Advent celebrations by having a Spontaneous Christmas Pageant in the Sanctuary with the whole church, including Sprouts!

Invite your friends and family!
