What's Happening at ECV

The World Can Be Healed
On Sunday, Matt shared how our world is broken…and it’s our fault. We all know of this brokenness at any level it meets us - systemic, communal, and personal. Thankfully, this brokenness is not the end. The third intuition of ‘The Big Story’ is that the world can be healed. Many of us share this hope regardless of our faith background or lack thereof. We have a shared hope that stories laced with death can find a better ending. Can our hopes become reality? This Sunday, Josh will share the hope and healing that Jesus offers our own stories as ‘The Big Story’ continues.

East Rock Fair
9/19 on Orange St

This Saturday, ECV invites you to the East Rock Festival happening from 11a-7p on Orange St. between Willow and Cottage! As Josh shared on Sunday, ECV is continuing the New Haven Neighborhood Challenge by exploring District 7 - a combination of the East Rock and Newhallville neighborhoods. ECV will have a booth at the festival where we'll share about ECV, the Neighborhood Challenge, and have some giveaways. Come check us out and explore more of New Haven!
Back to Sprouts Night
9/27 6-7p at FSUMC

This is an evening of worship, prayer, and nourishment for families. Parents, stay after church to worship and pray for our kids and their schools while the kids play, eat dinner, and watch a movie downstairs. Let's ask God to continue His good work in our kids, their friends, their schools, and our greater community. It's our hope that this will be an evening of refreshment and hope for families, not a burden! Parents and caregivers, we would love for you to join us. RSVP to Asha by Wednesday, September 23.
