What's Happening at ECV

On Sunday, Josh talked about how God calls us by tribe, the different ways we identify and group ourselves.  Whether it is a tribe that gives us privilege or one that is seen as marginalized in some way (or is a mix of both depending on whom you ask), God calls us into conversation with Him about our "tribe" and the results are surprising and good.  Listen to the talk here.

Next Sunday, Josh will talk about how we are called by God to serve and how responding to that call will completely remake our lives.

Thanks again for a great weekend at ECV.  We had a great time setting up at Trinity Lutheran, our new interim space, located on the corner of Orange and Wall St.  Hopefully, you felt at home at TLC this Sunday.  If there's anything the staff can do in this transition to help, please let us know.
Let's continue to be in prayer for our search for a new space.  The staff has had some very positive conversations with a handful of churches in the last few days, and we are excited for how God is moving us forward.

Thanks for your participation last week as ECV prayed and fasted together.  This week, please consider continuing our fast by fasting a meal (or whatever you feel led to give up) on Wednesday.  At ECV, this practice has helped us remain expectant for God's loving action in our lives.  Please join us.

We also want to hear more about what brought you to ECV, to share ways to get connected, and to give you opportunities to serve what God is doing at ECV.

Dinner will be provided so please RSVP to Jessy and include any dietary restrictions you might have.
