What's Happening at ECV

Receiving the Gift of Limits
Teaching Series

Sunday, Matt kicked-off a new teaching series, Receiving the Gift of Limits. The talk focused largely on our responsibility to live within the particular limits that make us the individuals God created us to be. If you missed it—or if you'd like to share it with someone who missed it—it's online here. This coming Sunday, Ryan McAnnally-Linz asks about living within the limits God has set for us as communities: Are communities similarly limited? How can we receive our communal limits as gifts?

As Matt mentioned Sunday, this whole topic of limits is new to many of us. This Sunday, in the 6-7 hour, our first two speakers in the teaching series, Matt & Ryan, will be facilitating a conversation on some of the theological questions raised by trying to take seriously our status as finite human creatures. So, grab some dinner, bring your questions, and we'll see you at 6.
