What's Happening at ECV

City & Social Action Roundtable Discussion

Sunday, Nov. 11
Downstairs after Sunday Gathering

Join the City and Social Action Team at ECV for a roundtable discussion on how we can bless New Haven.  At this gathering, we'll talk about the existing ways ECVers serve the city, present some new initiatives for the year, and hear from you about ways you're already involved in serving or ways you'd like to be involved.  We'd love a wide array of voices from arts to business to the non-profit world as we value the diversity God's given our church. Dinner provided - RSVP to Sarah.

Sacred Text Reading

Thursday, November 8th
7:30pm
810 Elm Street

Our friends at Pathways for Mutual Respect have invited members of ECV and Masjid Al-Islam to engage in sacred text readings. The time includes a reading from the Qur'an with some explanation from a leader at Masjid Al-Islam, a reading from the New Testament with some explanation from a leader from ECV, and time for discussion.

Kingdom Cafe Art Workshop

Friday, November 9th
4:30-6:00pm
at United Church on the Green

ECV Intern and performing artist Rodney Reynolds will be building a space where teens will create new pieces of art and discuss the deeper meaning behind the power of an artist. If you would like to be involved or help out, contact George

Sunday Team Spotlight: Welcoming & Hospitality

The welcoming and hospitality team works to help people feel welcome at ECV. Team members prepare snacks, greet people as they arrive at Sunday Gathering, help with welcome events like potlucks and picnics, and generally make people feel at home. This is the ultimate feel-good team! If you love people and want to get involved with welcoming and hospitality contact Jen
