The City and Social Action Roundtable Report
About 25 people gathered Sunday night to discuss both concrete efforts (e.g., foster parenting, Agape Church, youth mentoring) and ambitious dreams (e.g. street pastoring, ESL programs, community center). We emphasized how we could empower ECVers to pursue good works that God seems to be putting on their hearts. If you think God might be putting something on your heart, get in touch with Josh Williams or John Hartley. To hear John's talk on the Kingdom and Social Action click here.

Sunday Team Spotlight: Agape
Sundays, 8:00am
Trinity Lutheran Church
If you feel called to bless and befriend the homeless of New Haven, consider checking out Agape church for the Homeless. It is a community of folks who live in shelters, outside, and in homes and which seeks to uplift one another through teaching, prayer, and fellowship. Friendships are built across barriers and God meets us all with His grace. To volunteer for Agape or any Sunday team, click here.
