In honor of All Hallow's Eve, the Artist Colony will be hosting the annual "Come As Your Favorite Theologian in Costume" Party next Wednesday night!
In the spirit of the colony, we urge you to be creative in your hermeneutic
exploration of what to wear. The command is to come wearing what your favorite theologian would wear, were he or she to don a costume. However, in the spirit of creativity, we urge you not to be bound by a strict reading of the word "theologian" - you can come wearing what your favorite saint, serpent, philosopher, sinner, follower of Jesus, desert father, poet, televangelist (please no), or other founder of your particular denomination might masquerade as, were he, she, or other gender neutral postmodern pronoun of your choice were to don a costume.
