What's Happening at ECV

Celebrating with God
Last week, Matt talked about discerning the voice of God through listening and earnest dialog. Listen to the talk here. Join us this week as we continue exploring what it means to follow Jesus in the vision He has given to ECV. Liz Moore will share how God invites us to celebrate the things he is doing in us and in our world. Celebration is necessary to keep us going. When do we get to celebrate and what does that celebration look like?

New Haven Neighborhood Challenge
We want your stories!
For the last two months ECV has been doing the New Haven Neighborhood Challenge. This has been a way for us to get to know our city and to seek out ways in which we can better love and serve our community. God has been doing some amazing things in the Dwight/Kensington neighborhood. If you have stories to share about how you have experienced this challenge, we want to hear them! Send your stories to
stories@elmcityvineyard.org.

We will also be having a meeting after church this Sunday (5/31) to discuss where in New Haven to go next. Join us as we walk with God in loving our neighbors.

Arts and Ideas Festival
6/12-6/27
The International Festival of Arts and Ideas is here again. It runs June 12th-27th. This event draws people from all around and is chalk full of what looks like some really amazing lectures, activities and shows. This is a space that we can engage with the voice of God and listen with Him to the stories around us and to different perspectives than our own. There will be lectures raging in topics from Race and Democracy, Art and Activism, and community health. Here is a full list of activities, some free, some ticketed. Last week Matt spoke about hearing God's voice through listening and earnest dialog with others. This festival is the perfect place to do so as we continue to live life with God and others.
