What's Happening at ECV

Another Step Toward Transformation
On Sunday Matt kicked off our Lenten teaching series, "12 Steps to Transformation." From now until Easter we're going to be seeking God's transformation in our lives, using the structure of AA's "12 Steps." You can click HERE for an online version of our daily Lent Guide. When we submit our lives to God, God does amazing work in our lives that not only changes us, but also changes the places he has called us to. In our second week of the series, George Black will be sharing with us how God works both in our lives and the life of the city of New Haven.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

March 16th

Each year the St. Patrick's Day Parade brings downtown New Haven to life. The parade draws large crowds and many downtown roads will be closed. The parade will be over by 3:30, but it takes some time for the crowds to disperse, so allow some extra time to get to church. You can check the official parade website here for a complete list of road closings, parking availability, the parade route, and other details.

The Strivers Row

Sunday, March 30th
7:30pm
United Church on the Green

Spread the word! The Strivers Row, a group of spoken word artists, will be performing at United Church on the Green after the Sunday Gathering on the 30th. The group will feature Carvens Lissaint, Zora Howard, and ECV's own Alysia Harris. This is going to be an amazing event! Get the date on your calendar and start inviting your friends. You won't want to miss it.
