Game Night at The Sharps this Friday
Hey ECVers - too cold to venture outside this weekend? Then come hang out inside and play a game or two! Or just eat and drink and laugh a lot.
Starting at 7 PM , our doors are open to you. 173 Norton St. We'll have board games (Settlers of Catan, Ticket to ride, Carcasone, and others) and maybe a party game (apples-to-apples, compatibility, taboo), available to be played in several rooms. This is not just for the game geeks and ultra-competitives... come drink wine, eat food and just watch if you like.
Wine and soft drinks provided, as well as popcorn, but we welcome a contribution of your favorite game-time munchy (homeade even better), fine cheese, or other party beverage.
See you Friday!

"Gifts of Love" Service Project!
The ECV Children's Ministry is inviting you once again to participate in our latest service project! (Thanks to all who helped out with our Thanksgiving project - it was a big success!)
On Sunday, February 15th our children will be putting together “Gifts of Love Kits” for Leeway, Connecticut's only free-standing nursing home dedicated solely to the care of people living with HIV/AIDS.
The kits will contain items that will help to better the lives of their residents. We’re asking that you bring at least one of the items below:
• Art Supplies
• Games, summer outdoor games, decks of cards, word search books, batteries AA & D, etc.
• Bird feeders, bird seed, bird baths, bird books, binoculars
• Knitting-crochet needles, yarn
• Beauty Supplies: nail polish & supplies, hair products, cosmetic supplies (New Only Please)
• Garden tools, supplies, plants, soil, planters
We’ll collect the items on Sunday, February 15th. If you want to send extra items, that’s fine too. I hope you can join us in helping those living with HIV/AIDS!
