Looking forward to worshipping together Thursday evening. We had a lively sound check tonight over at 79 Kensington and decided to provide a simple BBQ to share with the neighbors. If you have trouble finding parking on Kensington street, just park at Shaws and walk over to the house. Bring a lawn chair if you have one...we'll bring picnic blankets. See you there!

Join us for an evening of worship and prayer under a canopy of trees and dusk as we finish the summer and look forward to the fall. We're being hosted by the residents of 79 Kensington, folks who love God and the neighborhood and are committed to being an incarnational presence there. We'll be taking time to pray and listen to God for the year, our church and the community. Come on out!

Last Day of Summer Backyard Movie Night

Hot summer nights, drive in movies under the stars, popcorn and m&m'... all of this and more (sans cars) can be had THIS FRIDAY night at the Sharp's backyard drive-in movie theater. Yes, we have ONE MORE DAY of summer

Showtime will be at dusk (8:00-8:30ish). We'll kick back lawn chairs and watch a most interesting and entertaining film with spiritual/theological themes and an optional discussion afterwards. The movie is a surprise, but it is guaranteed to move, intrigue, surprise, inspire, or bother you. July's showing of Once received rave reviews by the 15 or so ECVers and friends, and an interesting conversation insued. We'll will provide the popcorn and soda. You can bring your favorite candy, cookies, chips and dip or other favorite edible. In case of rain, we'll crowd inside.

Andy Park, long-time Vineyard worship leader and author of "In the Secret," "Multiply Your Love," and "Blessed Be the Name" (among many others) is coming to Connecticut August 23. Many of us have really been blessed by his ministry in the past. He's just a straight-up awesome guy who loves God and wants to see His purposes accomplished in the world. Should be an amazing night of worship.

After a several year hiatus so that lead singer Lamont Hiebert could get ECV partner org Love146 up and running, Ten Shekel Shirt is back and is releasing a their new album, Jubilee, Tuesday, August 19th at a concert and release party at Fontana's (105 Eldridge) in NYC. Should be a good show with some great music. 

If good music isn't enough to get you down to Lower Manhattan, I (Matt) will be playing keys with TSS at the show; I'd love to see you there.
